Position: Member Experience Concierge (Full-Time)

Looking for employment in northern Michigan? Bay Harbor Yacht Club is a private club located on Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay near Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. Bay Harbor Yacht Club provides breathtaking views and exceptional service for both guests and members year‑round. Job Title

Member Services Coordinator (Full‑time, year‑round)

Job Duties
  • Possess a positive, warm, and welcoming demeanor.
  • Act as first point of contact at the Front Desk for arriving members and guests.
  • Greet and acknowledge members and guests entering/exiting the Club and provide attention.
  • Learn members’ names and preferences to the best of ability.
  • Serve as member concierge: answer incoming calls, transfer calls as necessary, take and edit dining and member event reservations.
  • Maintain supply of print materials at the entrances of the Club.
  • Register and fulfill guests’ and members’ requests (e.g., place phone calls, hold letters or packages, locate wine orders or member online purchases).
  • Assist with registration for members, prospective members, and reciprocal club guests.
  • Assist with general office requests, including making copies, binding reports, completing faxes and scans.
  • Assist with maintaining the appearance and organization of the Outfitters merchandise area.
  • Keep the coat closet neat and orderly; check coats when necessary.
  • Complete various departmental administrative projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years experience in hospitality or private club industry or related areas preferred.
  • High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business field preferred.
  • POS system experience and knowledge preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Must be able to work some weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
