Concord Academy of Petoskey is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time English Teacher to work with students at the middle and high school levels. This role focuses on developing students' reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction for middle and high school students
• Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, literature, and critical analysis
• Incorporate diverse texts and foster a love of reading and writing
• Utilize project-based and interdisciplinary approaches aligned with the school's philosophy
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
• Communicate effectively with students and families

• Bachelors degree in English or related field
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (English/Language Arts endorsement)
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Passion for literature, writing, and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
