• Classroom experience (preferred)

• Assigned to one school (middle school or elementary buildings) and reports to the building principal and/or school secretary.
• Flexible placement based on district needs.
• Remain at school during the entire school day unless excused by the principal.
• Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school, classroom, and position assigned.
• Follow lesson plans and directions left by the teacher.
• Assume all duties and responsibilities of the absent teacher.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Model professional experience, attitude, and demeanor.
• Leave feedback and notes for the regular classroom teacher.
• Maintain student and staff confidentiality.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
• Assist with non‑classroom duties when assigned.

• This position is for the 2026/2027 school year:

• Hourly pay rate of $19.89/hour; 7.25 hours/day
