Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is on the hunt for passionate AAADM Certified Inspectors. If you have experience in this field, we want you to bring your expertise to our fast‑paced and welcoming environment.
As an AAADM Certified Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our stores run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll maintain the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facilities, equipment, and fixtures. Working under the guidance of the local General Maintenance Manager, you’ll follow established schedules and guidelines, performing inspections, cleaning, and repairs to keep everything in top condition.
Competitive Compensation ProgramSalary range: $45,760 – $83,200. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job‑related factors.
Additional bonus available for this role will be disclosed during the interview process.

Live Better U is a Walmart‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time field associates. The program ranges from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language and short‑form certificates. Tuition and related fees are fully covered by Walmart.
Essential Functions- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills and hand, power, and other tools.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
- Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
- AAADM Certification with a previous employer and at least 6 months of experience in the automatic door industry, OR at least 90 days of automatic door industry experience with completion of the factory training course of an AAADM member.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
- Capacity to sit or stand for long periods.
- Ability to work in various temperature conditions.
- Excellent driving record.
