Production Operator

Looking for a SWEET career that offers a consistent schedule and a fun work environment?! We have the right job for you! We're hiring up-beat individuals to work on a production team making candy and chocolate for

1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday ($18) and 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm ($19.50).

Potential operators will work with a team to coat candy centers in chocolate and be responsible for packaging finished goods. Looking for detail-oriented candidates that can meet production pace. Applicants must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and perform moderate lifting and bending requirements. Competitive compensation starting at

$17.00/hr.

Job Summary

The Production Operator supports daily confectionery production activities by following established recipes, quality standards, and food-safety procedures. This role ensures products are prepared accurately and efficiently while meeting production pace requirements. The operator works closely with team members to maintain smooth workflow, communicates proactively to stay on task, and contributes to a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions
  • Personally represents Kilwins Core Values, Core Purpose, Core Operating Standards, and Brand Promise.
  • Provide integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and purpose of the Kilwins Brand.
  • Produce confectionery items by following standardized recipes and procedures.
  • Operate production equipment such as mixers, melters, tempering units, coating lines and molding tools.
  • Maintain required production pace to support daily output goals.
  • Monitor product quality throughout production to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
  • Follow all food safety, GMP, and company quality requirements.
  • Package and label finished goods according to specifications.
  • Operate packaging machinery and safely fill bags or containers with finished products.
  • Complete production tickets, batch records, and time-use reporting accurately.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of clutter.
  • Perform equipment and workstation cleaning after each production run.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Read scales, thermometers, and other measurement tools accurately.

2. Follow recipes, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.

3. Understand basic confectionery production processes.

4. Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail in repetitive tasks.

5. Work effectively with team members and communicate proactively.

6. Stay on task and contribute to smooth production operations.
