About the Position
Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Stepdown Registered Nurse – Michigan

Schedule:
13-week assignment; every other weekend required; possible on-call
Highlights:
Work in a Silver-level Beacon Award-winning Cardiovascular Unit recognized by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN)
Care for a diverse cardiac patient population including post-PTCA, stents, TAVR, Mitra Clip, bi-ventricular pacemakers, and open heart surgery patients
Unit supports over 4,000 cardiology patients annually and approximately 300 open heart surgery recoveries
Participate in cutting-edge care at a facility recognized as a Top 50 Heart Hospital in the U.S.
Exposure to congestive heart failure patients, electrophysiology studies, and national clinical research trials
Opportunity to float to similar units for professional growth and varied experience
Requirements:
Active Michigan RN license (verification via LARA and Nursys required)
Minimum 1 year of Stepdown nursing experience
Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac care and EKG interpretation
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Travel nursing experience required
Willingness to float to similar units as needed
Skills checklist completed within one year of application
Reliable attendance and punctuality; adherence to facility attendance policies
