TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Petoskey, Michigan.

We're looking for Intensive Care Unit RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Petoskey, MI. The right nurse should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

As an ICU Travel Nurse, you'll be responsible for evaluating and monitoring patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting, documenting physician-directed care, assessing and implementing patient care plans, delegating to other care providers, and providing education and support to patient families.

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing.
• Communicate patients' conditions to family members.

ICU Travel Nurses must stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds as needed, and cope with exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases. RNs should be able to lift 20 pounds easily.

Requirements: ACLS, BLS, 1 Year. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title:
