• Provide direct bedside care to cardiovascular unit patients, including post‑procedural and post‑op cardiology care
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry; interpret ECGs; respond to arrhythmias and evolving patient conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and manage symptoms per established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education to support continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to safety and infection control standards

• Active Michigan RN license; license verification via LARA and Nursys required
• 1+ year of stepdown/cardiovascular unit experience
• Proficiency in cardiac care and telemetry; comfortable interpreting EKGs
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS and BLS
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed
• Travel assignment experience preferred
• Able to work the listed shift and travel as required
