Med-Surg nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for those treated with pharmaceuticals. They must be well versed in a wide range of health conditions.

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements determined by the client facility
