Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule:

Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Michigan RN license
• 2+ years of straight medical-surgical nursing experience (no floating)
• Level II or I trauma experience (required)
• BLS (AHA)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Conducts comprehensive assessments addressing physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Demonstrates effective communication through collegial relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintains productivity through effective time management and support of team performance.

Compliance / Notes:

Attendance policy: 3 strikes rule for absences or tardiness; supporting evidence for emergencies considered.
