  • Weekly Pay: $2250 to $2450
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly report significant changes to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
  • Manage wound care, post-operative recovery, and patient education
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality care standards
  • Respond effectively to emergencies while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Requirements
  • Active Michigan RN License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • ACLS Certification preferred
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Experience caring for post-operative, medical, and complex patient populations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
