Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan.

Start date:

06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,866–$1,959 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12‑hour nights (6:30 pm–7:00 am) with every‑other‑weekend coverage. Setting: hospital environment. This is a temporary travel position supported by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adult patients under supervision and in accordance with established hospital methods and procedures
  • Monitor vital signs, assess clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments per orders and MAR, ensuring accuracy and safety
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans
  • Document care and observations in the electronic health record; communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
  • Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and infection control practices
  • Adhere to established attendance policies and report any absences or tardiness in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) – required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long‑term care
  • Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts and a weekend rotation (every other weekend)
  • MI LTC fingerprinting on file is advantageous
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient‑centered care skills
  • Must be able to work effectively in a hospital setting and follow facility policies
