Registered Nurse - OB​/GYN

Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to obstetrics and gynecology patients within a hospital setting. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive women's health services, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient nursing care to OB/GYN patients, including assessments and care planning.
• Assist with labor and delivery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Support stabilization and co-parenting care for newborns through couplet care.
• Educate patients on pregnancy, postpartum, and gynecological health topics.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including emergency response procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Michigan state nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN nursing experience.
• Experienced with labor and delivery protocols.
• Comfortable with couplet care and stabilization procedures.
• Possess BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
