Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical
Location:
Petoskey, MI
Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date:
June 1, 2026
Pay Rate: $51/hr
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit in Petoskey, Michigan. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment caring for a diverse patient population including general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and stroke patients.
Unit Details- 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit
- Stroke-certified unit
- Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment
- Strong emphasis on patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Minimum 2 years of recent, dedicated Medical Surgical RN experience
- Experience must be in straight Med Surg (no Telemetry, Stepdown, or float-only experience)
- Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
- Active Michigan RN license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
