Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)
This position advocates for the patient population through a strict attendance policy. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated immediately. Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably. The surgical services represent a full spectrum of procedures and tests across various specialties.
General elective surgeries as well as critical or life-saving procedures are performed. The organization is committed to enhancing care and outcomes for all surgical patients. Preferred experience includes orthopedics, general surgery, endo-vascular, urgent care, and obstetrics. A skills checklist must be submitted as part of the application process. Michigan license verification is mandatory. If there are any issues with the license, a write-up for manager review is encouraged.
Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment. The position may require one weeknight of call every week from 7 PM to 11 PM. Additionally, one weekend on-call per month is required, rotating between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Weekend call times include both day and night shifts. Holiday assignments will be designated unless previously contracted off.
