Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Nights, 12-hour shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM, including weekend rotation and holiday shifts.
Job Description:
The Emergency Services department provides immediate care for a variety of medical situations, ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. We are committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure best practices are adhered to.
- Implement and monitor patient treatment plans, medications, and procedures.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience is required.
- Travel experience is preferred.
- Current Michigan RN license required; verification through LARA and Nursys.
- Certifications must include ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS (AHA).
