2+ years of straight med surg. Not float, not SDU/TELE, etc. Must be straight RN MS - [REQUIRED]

IMPORTANT!nnMcLaren Northern has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor.
This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.nLevel 2 North is a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population consisting of general and vascular surgery bariatric surgery plastic surgery trauma and is the stroke unit for the hospital. It is a challenging fast-paced environment with great learning opportunities for both graduate and experienced nurses.nNursing on this unit is patient-centered and focused on patient safety and delivery of quality care for positive patient outcomes.

Clinical Expertise:
Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop implement and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological psychosocial spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant others changing needs amp goals utilizing the Clinical Practice Model CPM and the Caring-Quality Model. Knowledge:

Demonstrates leadership through sharing of knowledge being a clinical resource and professional role model. Communication:
