Job Overview

The Enhancement Team Leader is responsible for leading a field crew and ensuring the timely, high‑quality completion of assigned projects. The primary focus is on renovating and revitalizing existing landscapes, overseeing tasks such as light masonry, retaining walls, plant installation, and general landscape improvements.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain department accountability for upkeep of a professional image on client sites and with company tools & equipment.
  • Perform and supervise completion of smaller scale projects such as building retaining walls, planting flower beds, laying sod, and repairing patios.
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debris.
  • Train and coach team members on proper techniques, practices, and equipment use.
  • Provide constructive feedback and reinforce attention to detail with team members.
  • Oversee crew time tracking, including clock in/out procedures and release of materials.
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards prior to leaving each property.
  • Maintain a clean, organized truck and trailer.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding job progress, challenges, and material needs.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and enforce all safety guidelines and company procedures, including use of all required PPE.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma (degree in horticulture recommended).
  • Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills with clients, team members, and management.
  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and pride in workmanship.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules require.
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work on uneven surfaces and terrain.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan Driver’s License. A CDL Class A is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment.
