Job Description
WCTC is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate administrative professional to join our ever evolving Business Information Technology Programs department. This position provides administrative support for the Associate Dean of Business Information Technology Programs, its instructional team and students. These duties and responsibilities often require strong critical thinking skills and involve varying degrees of complexity and confidentiality.

- Interpersonal communication skills - oral, written and listening
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to attend closely to detailed work, completing and maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to work processes
- Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with computer software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets
- High School diploma
- 2-4 years of general office experience
- Higher education experience preferred
- Associate's degree preferred
The Administrative Assistant II supports the Business Information Technology department and is full-time, benefit eligible. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some events throughout the year i.e. Open House may require an adjusted schedule.
