Position SummaryThe Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our service team. You will learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while contributing to routine inspections, vehicle assessments, and repair procedures. The role may involve interacting with customers to explain repair procedures and provide exceptional service.
$1,500 sign‑on bonus (first‑time hires)
Pay Range: $17.50 – $26.30
Technicians earn performance‑based flat‑rate pay, rewarding expertise and efficiency with a predetermined amount for each eligible task.

Responsibilities- Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
- Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Install batteries and check electrical systems.
- Perform tire maintenance.
- Install parts.
- Road test vehicles.
- Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment. Company pays exam fees; bonus is awarded for each test passed.
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive company and customer vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including:
- Oil changes
- Basic inspections
- Repairing tires
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
- 2 years automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational‑technical school program in a related field, or proven skills through third‑party certificates or assessments.
- A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications.
