Business Development Director

Oak Medical Internal Medicine Waukesha, WI, US

As Business Development Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping our growth and expanding our impact across the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care landscape. Working closely with the CEO, you’ll identify new opportunities, build trusted strategic partnerships, and lead the Business Development team in turning opportunities into meaningful results in our Southeast Wisconsin service area.

You’ll also help drive process improvement and strategic initiatives while partnering with Operations, Clinical Support, and Human Resources to achieve shared organizational goals.

Business Development Director Duties & Responsibilites
  • Drive
    cross-functional alignment
    by facilitating communication, activities, and operational processes across Business Development, Provider Operations, and Clinical Support teams.
  • Identify and cultivate
    new business opportunities by developing strategic relationships with prospective clients and contributing to sustainable revenue growth.
  • Partner
    closely with the CEO to develop and execute business development strategies that align with the organization’s overall strategic direction and growth objectives.
  • Cultivate
    strong, collaborative relationships
    both internally and externally to advance the organization’s mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership
    and innovative thinking through effective planning, sound decision-making, and proactive problem-solving to achieve organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities
    to strengthen and optimize business development deployment and operational processes.
  • Lead and support initiatives
    that enhance organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business performance.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing resources
    and communications that effectively translate the company’s messaging and value proposition into the field.
  • Strengthen and represent the company’s brand by promoting a positive corporate image and serving as a visible ambassador for the organization.
  • Develop and empower
    team members by ensuring employees have access to the resources, guidance, and support needed for professional growth and success.
  • Establish and champion
    high standards for customer satisfaction and service delivery, ensuring a consistent and exceptional experience.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment where employees feel valued, supported, engaged, and empowered to contribute to organizational success.
  • Other duties as assigned
Travel

This position requires frequent in-state travel and periodic out-of-state travel.

Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or communications, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong background in Post-Acute and Long-term care settings.
  • Effective leadership and team building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of business development experience in a Post-Acute and or Long-term Care setting.
  • 5+ years of leadership of a business development team.
