Experienced Paving Foreman

Overview

Paving Foreman position for upcoming 2025 season with Payne + Dolan Inc., a Walbec Group company, in Southeastern Wisconsin. Role includes assisting with personnel scheduling, crew management, overseeing paving equipment needs and repair, and reinforcing continuous quality improvement in laydown and compaction.

• Projects will vary by location throughout the local area or the state, so reliable transportation and/or willingness to travel to any job site as needed.

• Valid Driver s License and satisfactory driving record.
• A CDL is desired but not necessary.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and have a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct.
• Must be self-directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities.
• Ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member is required. Union membership is not required prior to employment. HR can assist.
• Minimum of 5 years  experience at the field level, laying and finishing asphalt.
• Prior experience as a Foreman.
• Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations.
