Project Manager (Plumbing - New Construction)

Location:

Southeast Wisconsin (Onsite Mondays & Fridays)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM | On-Call (as needed)
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + auto allowance

An MRA Member headquartered in the Southeast WI area, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong plumbing expertise to oversee multiple new construction projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a licensed Journeyman Plumber (or higher) who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and can confidently lead teams while keeping projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating engineering, installation teams, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You'll Do
  • Plan, schedule, and manage multiple plumbing projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Purchase materials and manage subcontractors and installation teams
  • Ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Set project milestones and proactively manage risks
  • Oversee contracts, cost control, and service quality
  • Prepare proposals, change orders, invoices, and support collections
  • Communicate regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Keep accurate documentation of progress, materials, and scope changes
  • Identify and resolve issues to prevent delays or cost overruns
  • Collaborate with technicians, subcontractors, and leadership
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to field teams
Must-Haves
  • Journeyman Plumbing License (or higher)
  • 3-5 years of plumbing experience in new construction (multifamily preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Management, or related field
  • Experience with multifamily housing, apartments, senior living facilities, townhomes, and commercial projects
  • Construction industry background
  • Financial analysis and cost control skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Gmail, Con Doc, and Procore
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, adaptable mindset
Schedule & Location
  • Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • On-call rotation
  • Must be onsite at corporate office on Mondays and Fridays
  • Candidates may reside anywhere in southeastern Wisconsin
