Site Superintendant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

This role requires travel to active project sites as needed. Travel may range from short regional trips to multi-day assignments depending on project demands.

• Comprehend all design documents and review all shop drawings.
• Manage all subcontractors’ performance onsite.
• Make informed choices and seek creative solutions to problems by utilizing all available resources.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with all project team members.
• Have experience leading and supervising a project team.
• Oversee daily construction activities from mobilization to punch list completion, including cost management, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and communication with owners.
• Coordination for the delivery of equipment and materials.
• Coordination of all project meetings, including but not limited to pre-installation meetings and weekly meetings, with the ability to prepare a 3-week look-ahead schedule with sequencing.
• Coordinate and track requirements for labor, equipment, material, and subcontractors to meet project milestones, goals, and expectations.
• Ability to manage safety in all aspects of the project.
• Management of project paperwork, including daily reports, weekly safety toolbox talks, and job photos.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all team members, owners, architects, and engineers to ensure a complete understanding of project scope.

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising commercial construction projects.
• Willing to travel to project sites as needed.
• Experience in subcontractor management is a must.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
