• Demonstrated working knowledge of programmatic discipline, curriculum development, effective teaching/learning principles, and evaluation.

• Intermediate level of proficiency with computer software applications such as word processing, database, spreadsheet, and presentation programs. Knowledge of and familiarity with video‑conferencing and technologies associated with adult‑centric teaching and learning, as well as within specific programmatic disciplines, which may include web technologies, operating systems, online program tracking platforms, social media platforms, mobile technology tools, and/or AV/multimedia applications and equipment.

• Two (2) years of recent general dentistry chairside experience as a dental assistant.
• Bachelor's degree in Education.
• CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) Associate Degree.
• CPR certification.
• Attain and maintain a WTCS teaching certificate.

The Instructor – Dental Assistant position supports the School of Health and is available to start by July 27th, 2026. This is a full‑time instructor position on a flexible year‑round calendar. Teaching assignments include variable hours, including days, evenings, and/or weekends.

Finalists will be invited to interview and do a teaching demo on Monday, July 6th, 2026. Candidates will be notified via email if selected for interviews. A potential second round of interviews may occur.
