Description
Partner with subject-matter experts to develop and evaluate performance-based curriculum, within the WTCS framework to maintain curriculum integrity. Work in accordance with established policies, procedures, contractual agreements, and state guidelines. Provide assessment-planning support and guidance to instructional staff as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of performance-based curriculum/instruction, outcomes-based assessment, and knowledge of curriculum development and alignment
- Familiarity with instructional development software, preferably the Worldwide Instructional Design System (WIDS)
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas
- Effective interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to manage time and organize work
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal (faculty and staff) and external contacts (clients and vendors)
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and/or with minimal supervision
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office software
The Instructional Development Specialist supports the Faculty Development Innovation Center and available to start on/or before September 16, 2026.

Salary Salary will be determined based on relevant experience, and review of internal equity.
HoursHours are Monday through Friday
-8:00 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m.
Preliminary Zoom interviews will be scheduled throughout the recruitment process for selected candidates.
Selected candidates will be invited to an in-person interview. Interview date is Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
