Professional Land Surveyor – Geotechnical Team
Assist with the completion of field surveys on a variety of project types. Perform data reduction, digital terrain modeling, surface creation, and preparation of right‑of‑way plats, certified survey maps, and boundary surveys. Interact with clients, contractors, and junior surveyors.
LocationOpen to candidates residing in Delafield, WI.
Essential Qualifications- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- PLS License in the state of Wisconsin.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to walk and climb over rough terrain, carry up to 50 pounds, and stand working outdoors for 8‑12 hours in varying temperatures.
- Ability to travel for projects, team meetings, and overnight stays as required.
- Ten or more years of field and/or office survey experience.
- Experience with boundary/land surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking using Total Stations and GPS.
- Experience in drafting, completing computations, and understanding of plans and easement descriptions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Field experience with Trimble Survey Equipment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Micro Station, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office.
- MVR records check confirming a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets SEH’s Driving Program requirements.
Base compensation ranges from $100,000 to $132,000 based on skill set and experience. SEH is currently unable to hire employees residing in AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, and PR. Candidates willing to relocate should indicate this in their application. The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
