Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, proposal, addendums, engineering drawings, and all other information pertinent to project.
- Generate 3D Models and Fabrication Drawings. Generate constructable 3D models and review assembly & spool drawings for fabrication in conjunction with project & shop foremen.
- Provide other project information/documentation as requested.
- Provide information necessary for plan review/permit.
- Manage plan review process.
- Provide "cut sheets" and shop fabrication drawings as requested.
- Archive drawings (approved plans, pertinent architectural plans, civil plans, etc.) in electronic format.
- Perform clash detection and be able to communicate and work through changes to be made with other trades.
- Maintain/update CAD & VDC systems to ensure maximum efficiency/accuracy is achieved.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED - with 5 or more years of related experience
- Associate Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or CAD Engineering PREFERRED
- 3 to 5 years of CAD/Revit experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability and willingness to visit construction sites & other outdoor environments
