Sr MFG Engineer

Overview

Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Waukesha County for a rapidly growing, privately held manufacturer. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll drive process improvements, support automation initiatives, and help scale operations within a fast-growing division.

• Design and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and assembly methods
• Develop fixtures, tooling, and gauges to support production efficiency
• Lead and support automation initiatives (equipment selection, process improvements)
• Partner with engineering to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM)
• Drive lean and continuous improvement projects
• Optimize labor, workflow, and plant layout
• Support quality initiatives and production troubleshooting

• 5-10+ years in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and processes
• Experience with fixture/tooling design and process improvement
• Hands-on background in assembly, machining, fabrication, or welding environments
• CAD experience (Solid Works or similar)
• Self-directed, problem solver who thrives in a hands-on environment
