Description
Perform a variety of specialized and complex record keeping duties associated with processing and analyzing accounting transactions. Prepare and review a variety of financial reports with a high degree of accuracy. Responsible for tracking and maintaining critical reporting deadlines. Initiate communication between stakeholders to ensure information reported is complete and accurate. With supervision, coordinate implementation of new systems and recommend process improvements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Participate in and contribute to assignments and special projects of a similar nature and level.
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must be able to create and use complex Excel spreadsheets. Aptitude for data entry.
- Familiarity with computerized accounting systems
- Ability to reconcile financial documents/reports
- Good critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with other staff, management personnel, financial institutions, other agencies and companies, and the general public
- Highly competent for accuracy and detail
- Ability to read, understand, and explain complicated procedures and regulations; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; and to organize and schedule work priorities effectively
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
This position is a 40 hours per week position. Typical hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All applicants must submit a completed application along with a current resume and cover letter.
