OverviewEngauge is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Inventory Coordinator to support inventory accuracy and logistics operations at our Pewaukee, WI fulfillment facility. This role is responsible for managing inventory transactions, improving inventory control processes, and developing systems that ensure materials are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a reliable self‑starter with strong manufacturing or warehouse inventory experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with operations, finance, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Management- Plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of inventory control program development and training
- Manage inventory transactions throughout the facility to ensure accuracy across departments
- Execute cycle counting plans and support year‑end fiscal inventory reporting
- Develop internal processes and reporting tools to communicate inventory accuracy
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and correct systemic inventory discrepancies
- Partner with accounting to reconcile inventory costing and adjustments monthly
- Work with quality teams to manage inventory in and out of hold or scrap areas
- Support purchasing and manufacturing teams with inventory storage plans based on lead times and demand
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics processes to ensure materials arrive and ship on time
- Oversee freight negotiation and vendor shipment methods to maximize efficiency and reduce cost
- Track vendor delivery schedules and implement corrective actions when delays occur
- Manage paperwork and documentation for imported and domestic shipments
- Improve shipping and receiving processes to prevent errors before they occur
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse inventory, or business operations
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and follow‑through
- Experience developing or improving inventory control processes required
- Ability to work independently and manage time‑sensitive deliverables
- Forklift experience (sit‑down and stand‑up) preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with IQMS ERP systems or similar platforms
- Background in continuous improvement methodologies
- Injection molding or plastics manufacturing experience is a plus
- Crystal Reports or inventory reporting tool experience preferred
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods and attend meetings as needed
- Flexibility to work late hours or off‑shift occasionally to support operational needs
