Position Description
Looking for an experienced Swiss-style CNC machinist to join our team to take the lead on set‑ups, training, and supporting operators. Position available on 1st or 2nd shift depending on preference.
The role focuses on set‑ups, providing day‑to‑day troubleshooting, and growing into a set‑up lead position while remaining hands‑on. Prior experience running and troubleshooting Swiss CNC machines (experience with Hanwa is a plus) and some programming experience (machine or offline) are beneficial, though not required. The machinist will train others who wish to learn programming.
Responsibilities include setting up jobs, proving out programs, assisting with programming as needed, leading production operators, ensuring quality inspections and checks are completed to produce parts within specification, and providing operator training when necessary. The machinist will also assist in scheduling work through the Swiss cells, leading set‑ups, and supporting production to meet due dates. Leadership responsibilities and day‑to‑day collaboration with others are essential.
Type: Full‑time Pay: $27.00 to $37.00 per hour
