Quad is currently seeking a Second Press Operator to work in the Pewaukee, Wisconsin plant. The role involves supporting the operation of printing presses through set up, color quality control, color adjustments, ensuring printed quality meets customer specifications, performing basic maintenance and repairs on presses, and assisting with training and direction of employees assigned to a specific press. The Second Press Operator also provides performance feedback to Lead Press Operators and supervisors and prepares departmental reports.

• Minimum of two years experience in the printing industry as Roll Tender.
• Understanding of Operations to carry out instructions.
• Familiarity with Safety Program, administration of policies and procedures, directing and dealing with employees, resolving work issues, and evaluating department and employee performance.
• Willingness to update skills regularly to keep abreast of rapidly changing technology.

• Excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Frequent interactions with employees, managers, and vendors.

• Capable of independent thinking and strong analytical skills to observe, recognize, and resolve practical problems across printing processes, presses, and employee reports.

• Finger dexterity for accessing, retrieving information, troubleshooting problems, and using hand‑held tools.
• Hand coordination, bending, walking, climbing, and standing for long periods; lifting up to 50 pounds; stooping, pulling, pushing, and overhead reaching.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
