The Opportunity

We're hiring a maintenance technician for our Cudahy location. The maintenance staff is responsible for the daily electrical and mechanical maintenance of all plant equipment, ensuring our facility is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably - helping us deliver top-quality products to our customers.

What You'll Do
  • Repair food manufacturing and packaging line equipment as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment per maintenance schedule.
  • Complete work orders on a timely basis
  • Process improvements regarding maintenance procedures, processes and production equipment
  • Demonstrate a competency in overall equipment knowledge
  • Record and file all necessary documentation
  • General housekeeping of maintenance shop
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a food manufacturing environment (required).
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and building/facility systems - food-grade welding and a strong PLC/controls background required.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packaging lines.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with CMMS or other maintenance software.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, safety compliance, and food manufacturing standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive problem solver
