The Role

We are hiring a Seasoner Operator for our Waukesha location on the 3rd shift. The seasoner operator is responsible for operating and monitoring seasoner, feeder, shaker, and conveyor equipment, ensuring that all products meet Legacy Bakehouse’s quality and efficiency standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth production, food safety compliance, and equipment reliability.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up and run the seasoners, base feeders, shaker tables and conveyors per customer’s specs and Legacy specs.
  • Help maintain the equipment by performing a general inspection, basic mechanical troubleshooting, and reporting any repair needs to your supervisor.
  • Conduct seasoning testing according to customer and internal specifications.
  • Record data from required testing.
  • Make any necessary changes to equipment to achieve Legacy efficiency and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistent product level in the base feeder, consistent seasoning curtain, and consistent oil spray.
  • Consistently scrape the shaker table screen to maintain proper sifting.
  • Record lot numbers for traceability purposes.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to comply with food safety standards.
  • Conduct changeovers to prepare for the next product run.
What We’re Looking For
  • Reliable and detail‑oriented team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English (Spanish proficiency a plus).
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing required; QA or food safety experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and apply technical concepts (SQF, HACCP, Food Safety).
  • Willingness to assist in other departments as needed.
