We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to lead manufacturing operations at our Hartland, Wisconsin headquarters.
Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Director of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing, purchasing, production planning and scheduling, shipping, and facilities. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence by advancing safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement while building high-performing teams and supporting the company's long-term growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Lead all manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and financial objectives
- Develop production strategies, establish priorities, and optimize resources across departments including fabrication, assembly, testing, and shipping
- Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and operational efficiency
- Recruit, coach, and develop supervisors and employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field or equivalent leadership experience
- 7 or more years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in a custom manufacturing or engineer-to-order environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, production planning, and operational metrics
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational performance
- Experience with production management, operational KPIs, safety compliance, and process improvements
- Knowledge of maintenance and facility operations best practices
- Ability to foster teamwork and develop leadership skills within manufacturing teams
