Overview
The Crossing Medical Clinic in Manitowoc, WI provides free and low‑cost health care services to uninsured and underserved individuals in Manitowoc County. Working with volunteers, partnerships, and donated resources, the clinic seeks to strengthen its internal systems for volunteer engagement, resource management, and operational processes, ensuring long‑term sustainability and expanded access to care.
Responsibilities- Serve as an Ameri Corps VISTA member and help expand access to health care for uninsured and underserved individuals.
- Design and implement volunteer programs and improve volunteer coordination.
- Develop and improve resource tracking systems and operational procedures to increase clinic efficiency.
- Support resource‑coordination efforts to enable the clinic to serve more patients effectively.
- Build capacity through creating long‑term solutions that support the clinic’s mission and improve community health outcomes.
