Overview
St. Clare Health Mission is entering a transformative period of growth as it relocates to a new clinic facility and implements a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The goal of this Ameri Corps project is to increase the clinic's organizational capacity by establishing efficient operational systems, supporting successful technology adoption, and expanding community awareness and volunteer engagement. The Ameri Corps member will focus on strengthening the infrastructure that supports patient care rather than providing direct medical services.
Through operational planning, workflow development, EHR implementation support, and volunteer recruitment efforts, the member will help ensure the clinic can serve more community members effectively and sustainably.
- Support St. Clare Health Mission's transition to a new clinic facility by developing operational workflows, assisting with clinic-night operations, and identifying process improvements.
- Implement a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system through workflow development, training materials, and user support for staff and volunteer clinicians.
- Lead community outreach and volunteer recruitment efforts by creating marketing materials, managing social media campaigns, and tracking engagement outcomes to increase awareness of St. Clare's services and expand its volunteer workforce.
