Job Summary

Performs primary nursing functions of assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency department to patients of all ages suffering from various types of illness or trauma. The RN serves as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care is delivered to optimal patient outcomes.

• Work schedule:
  
  36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays with 12‑hour shifts

• Minimum 1 year experience in an emergency department setting
• Preferred 2 years experience in an emergency department setting
• Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or Multi‑State Nursing License (NLC)
• BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS (AHA) required within 6 months of hire
• PALS (AHA) required within 1 year of hire
• Preferred Trauma Nurse Course (TNCC) certification

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing, necessary for RN licensure.
