We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and grow our data center construction team across the Midwest. As a QA/QC Manager for The Boldt Company – Data Center team you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance and quality control program for large‑scale, hyperscale data center projects. This role directly influences how work is planned, installed, inspected, and turned over to meet demanding client expectations, owner standards, and mission‑critical performance requirements.
Working at the center of production, safety, commissioning, and trade partner coordination, the QA/QC Manager helps drive proactive issue resolution, reduce rework, and strengthen execution across the full project lifecycle. This role is an opportunity to shape project outcomes, build trusted client relationships, develop high‑performing quality teams, and reinforce Boldt’s culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement on projects that define the future of digital infrastructure.
You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Controls, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in QA/QC management in large‑scale construction, with at least 3 years on mission‑critical/hyperscale data center projects required.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and specifications (ICC, NFPA, AISC, ASHRAE, IEEE, NEC, etc.).
- NFPA 70E Certification (Arc Flash training).
- OSHA 30‑hour certification.
- Familiarity with owner standards and requirements for hyperscale clients such as Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Autodesk Forma, BIM 360, Bluebeam, CMiC).
- Willingness to travel and maintain regular onsite presence across the country.
- Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager, AWS‑CWI (current).
- First Aid / CPR Certification.
- Cert Welding Inspector.
