Halen Homes is a locally owned home builder based in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, specializing in high-quality new construction homes and condominiums. We pride ourselves on thoughtful design, strong vendor relationships, and a customer-focused building experience. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated sales professional who loves working with people and guiding them through one of the biggest purchases of their lives.
The New Home Sales Specialist is responsible for selling Halen Homes’ new construction homes and condos, managing the buyer relationship from first contact through contract, and serving as the primary liaison between buyers, realtors, and internal teams. This role blends sales expertise and hands-on customer support throughout the design and build process to deliver an exceptional home-buying experience.

- Greet and qualify prospective buyers at model homes, showings, and community events
- Guide buyers through the new construction process, including floor plans, options, pricing, and timelines
- Build strong relationships with buyers, real estate agents, lenders, and internal partners
- Convert leads into contracts while meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Maintain expert knowledge of Halen Homes’ floor plans, features, specifications, and communities
- Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor offerings, and pricing trends
- Clearly communicate the value and differentiators of Halen Homes products
- Attend all closings, prepare and execute purchase agreements and related sales documentation
- Coordinate with construction, design, and warranty teams to ensure smooth handoffs, change orders, and design selections
- Track buyer progress and maintain accurate records in CRM and sales systems
- Ensure model homes and spec homes are clean, staged, and presentation-ready
- Assist with open houses, broker events, and marketing initiatives
- Follow up promptly with online, phone, and walk-in leads
- 2+ years of residential real estate sales experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Consultative sales approach with customer-first mentality
- Proficiency with basic office technology
- Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings and weekends
- New construction or home builder sales experience
- Familiarity with the Waukesha / Ozaukee County housing market
- Professional, polished, and trustworthy demeanor
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Passion for homes, design, and helping buyers make confident decisions
