Inside Sales Representative-Technical; Parts pricing

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for order processing and sales‑related support to both internal and external customers. The incumbent will also provide exceptional customer service, including prompt and thorough responses to customer inquiries while coordinating all aspects of order management from pricing and quoting, order entry, delivery, and invoicing.

• Quotations – Receive customer inquiries, verify parts against specifications, obtain current part costs, check pattern availability, develop sell prices based on margin levels, maintain accurate records, and prepare and send proposals.
• Order Management – Receive and review orders for accuracy, coordinate with the Order Management team to gather required customer information, ensure proper processing of orders, back up order entry personnel as needed, and maintain virtual customer files with sales contracts.
• Sales Support – Provide price and availability information, formal quotations, and other pre‑ and post‑order support functions for Flygt AC products and services. Additional duties may be required based on organizational needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field, or 2+ years of equivalent work experience in a customer support position within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with experience providing customer support and supporting projects.
• Technical aptitude to understand bills of materials and technical drawings, mechanical understanding, and parts pricing.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to engage with suppliers to obtain quotations and support parts and service proposals.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a diverse workforce and customer base in a matrixed organization.
• Basic knowledge of SAP ERP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
