- Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on plant equipment and facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Install, service, and repair machinery, equipment, wiring, and related components
- Work with CNCs, PLCs, servo drives, robotics, and motor control systems
- Install and maintain wiring (240V–480V) per NEC standards
- Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure proper operation
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and complete timely repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance (lubrication, inspections, monitoring noise/vibration)
- Maintain plant communication systems and equipment
- Accurately document work orders and maintenance activities
- Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Utilize Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
- Operate lifts and ladders as needed
- Collaborate with team members and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Cross-train in other technical areas as needed
- Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma, in addition to specialized training.
- Requires 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, operating instructions, maintenance guides, and procedure manuals.
- Communicates effectively with contractors and employees.
- Performs basic mathematical operations and metric conversions.
- Must have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, electrical code manuals, routings, and other manufacturing instructions.
