Job Title: Technician Helper
Reports To: Technical Field Operations Leader
Pay Range: $16–$18/hour (based on experience)
About the Role:Clear Path Connections is seeking a motivated and dependable Technician Helper to join our growing team. This is an exciting, entry-level opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn a skilled trade in the low-voltage industry. You’ll be working side‑by‑side with experienced Technicians, gaining hands‑on experience and building a clear pathway to becoming a full‑fledged Technician.
Mission for the Role:The Technician Helper supports the field team by actively learning and assisting with the installation of low-voltage infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Clear Path Connections’ quality standards. The goal is to develop the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to transition into a Technician role within 12–24 months.
Desired Outcomes:- Shadow and assist Technicians on job sites, learning through hands‑on experience
- Participate in the installation of cable pathways, device controllers, and nurse call systems
- Pull and terminate cables and install infrastructure for low-voltage systems
- Take on all aspects of a Technician’s responsibilities under supervision
- Receive training both in‑office and on-the‑job to accelerate your learning
- Maintain a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
- No industry experience required — we’re looking for someone who wants to learn
- Ideal for recent high school graduates or early career professionals
- Someone who held a steady job while in school, demonstrating maturity and reliability
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and a desire to grow within the company
- Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to various job sites
- Willingness and ability to acquire a basic set of tools within the first year of employment
- Note:
This role does require you to have your own steel toed boots
