Role Summary

The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and customer delivery, including unloading and staging products at the customer’s location. The LS represents Tire Hub professionally in all customer interactions, maintains safe driving practices, and delivers exceptional customer service.

• Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery services, vehicle maintenance, with adjustments as business needs evolve.
• Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles.
• Follows Tire Hub safety standards for packing, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and serves in designated locations using the bin locator system.
• Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks in adherence to safety protocols.
• Conducts cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures.
• Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
• Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition with daily pre/post‑trip inspections.
• Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
• Ensures compliance with all Tire Hub policies and procedures.
• Participates in ongoing training sessions.
• Performs other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Optimizes work processes and drives continuous improvement.
• Manages ambiguity and drives results under tough circumstances.
• Collaborates and communicates effectively with team members.

• At least 1 year of general work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 19 years old or older.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Capable of repeatedly lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving tires up to 50 lbs with or without mechanical assistance.
• Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Accurately load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
• Work up to 35 feet above ground level.
• Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift.
• Follow traffic rules and safe driving of Tire Hub vehicles to customer locations.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
• Maintain forklift certification.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs or greater with or without mechanical assistance.
• Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
• Might handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Work in non‑climate‑controlled warehouses and customer locations.
• Extended day, evening, and weekend work may be required with little notice.
• Driving during night or inclement weather may be required.
• Must not exceed 400 lbs in weight or 6 ft 3 in in height.
