Overview
Cash Construction, a Mas Tec Company, is currently hiring a Concrete Superintendent for structural concrete in the Austin area. The Concrete Superintendent is a leader whose primary responsibility is to supervise the day-to-day field construction of a project or multiple projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, safely, and to quality standards. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Construction Superintendent with a focus on concrete structures, including bridges, box culverts, wet wells and pump stations, sidewalks, headwalls, and cast-in-place retaining walls.
This position offers a bonus plan, relocation assistance, vehicle allowance, fuel card, and toll tag. Location and travel: onsite in the Austin, TX / Pflugerville, TX area.

Responsibilities- Attend all required pre-job meetings.
- Review project scope with the Project Manager and Area Manager before work begins.
- Review and understand union contracts prior to union pre-jobs.
- Set up the job site prior to project start.
- Review cost codes prior to starting work.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with inspectors, subcontractors, and owners.
- Ensure all work meets project specifications.
- Coordinate all subcontractor operations and manage the local union relationship.
- Supervise on-site employees for assigned projects.
- Meet EEO requirements and document efforts to comply.
- Complete required paperwork (daily timesheets with photo documentation, safe cards, weekly toolbox talks, onboarding new employees, daily diaries, delivery tickets with cost codes, fuel receipts).
- Submit daily timesheets and diary notes from foremen under the Superintendent s supervision.
- Ensure quantities are entered daily and accurately.
- Generate a two-week look-ahead schedule with activities, equipment, personnel, materials, and QC testing needs.
- Verify utility locates before excavation.
- Maintain tools and equipment assigned to the project; complete equipment checklists as necessary.
- Ensure required materials and equipment are on site as scheduled; maximize equipment utilization.
- Oversee work to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies, including subcontractor activities.
- Conduct toolbox talks on the first day of each work week and maintain sign-in sheets; ensure safe cards are completed daily.
- Perform other work-related duties as required.
- Minimum GED or High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Construction Superintendent with a focus on concrete structures (bridges, box culverts, wet wells and pump stations, sidewalks, headwalls, cast-in-place retaining walls).
- Computer skills are a plus.
