Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Life Skills Special Education Teacher to join their team on a contract basis. This role is designed for a dedicated educator with the necessary Texas Special Education licensure who is committed to supporting students with special needs in developing essential life skills.

Location:

• Round Rock, TX

Credentials:

• Texas Special Education licensure required

Work Schedule:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to life skills development
• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to enhance student progress
• Monitor and assess student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students requiring life skills instruction preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
