Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time School Psychologist supporting a dedicated 9th-grade center. In this vital role, you'll work alongside a collaborative team to deliver essential psychological services with a focus on evaluations, ARD meetings, and review of assessments, rather than counseling. You'll also play a key part in supporting elementary schools-partnering with a diagnostician to manage evaluation responsibilities.

Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in educational settings, preferably with high school and elementary students
  • Strong grasp of assessment tools and procedures for school-based evaluations
  • Comfortable collaborating with diagnosticians, teachers, and special education teams
  • Knowledge of ARD meeting procedures and compliance requirements within public schools
  • Effective communication skills for presenting evaluation findings to multidisciplinary teams and parents
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a shared workload across grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho educational evaluations for students, focusing on shared responsibilities with the elementary diagnostician
  • Review and interpret evaluation results for use in developing appropriate educational plans
  • Participate actively in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, providing guidance and expertise
  • Consult with teachers, administration, and support staff regarding student needs and evaluation outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per state and federal requirements
