Curriculum coordinators at The Learning Experience are responsible for the financial and operational performance of the Center. They have an essential ability to apply their business acumen to customer engagement and leading people, ultimately creating an environment where others can thrive.
Job Summary:
The Curriculum Coordinator oversees the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of educational programs and curriculum. This role collaborates with teachers, school administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure curriculum aligns with academic standards, supports student achievement, and incorporates effective instructional practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update curriculum to meet state and district standards.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement curriculum and instructional best practices.
- Analyze student achievement data to identify curriculum strengths and areas for improvement.
- Provide professional development and instructional coaching for educators.
- Ensure curriculum materials, assessments, and instructional resources are current and effective.
- Monitor compliance with educational regulations, accreditation requirements, and district policies.
- Coordinate curriculum adoption and textbook selection processes.
- Support the integration of technology into teaching and learning.
- Work with school leadership to establish instructional goals and improvement plans.
- Evaluate curriculum effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on research and data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification; administrative certification may be preferred.
- Several years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, or educational program management.
- Strong knowledge of state academic standards, assessment practices, and instructional strategies.
