The Group Leader is a part-time, on-site role located in Pflugerville, TX, supporting students in a school-based setting. This position typically involves supervising groups of students during after-school or enrichment programs, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social development, and positive behavior. The Group Leader collaborates with campus staff to follow program guidelines, monitor attendance, and communicate important information to students and caregivers.

Daily responsibilities may include preparing materials, leading games or educational projects, providing guidance and support to students, and assisting with program setup and cleanup. The role requires consistent reliability, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the district’s student-first mission.

• Ability to supervise groups of students safely and effectively, including maintaining order, monitoring behavior, and supporting positive peer interactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families in a respectful, culturally responsive manner.
• Organizational and time-management skills to plan activities, manage schedules, and complete daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address student needs, respond to incidents, and follow district policies and procedures.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and creating a welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Experience working with children or youth in educational, recreational, or childcare settings is highly beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education, child development, or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to meet district employment requirements, which may include background checks and completion of required training.
